Logjam! 2015
Logjam! is an " Old Boards, No Cords" retro surfboard contest that features pre-1970 vintage surfboards, weighing 20 lbs or more, single fins, that are surfed without the use of a leash. With an Aloha spirit, this event recreates the early years of California surfing before technology evolved boards and surfing to the current day. As seen in the Santa Cruz Sentinel and Pacific Longboarder. Categories include men, women, children, tandem, and paddleboard races in a two day event that gives all a chance to surf the designated World Surfing Reserve, Pleasure Point area of Santa Cruz. |
The Big Stick Logjam! is a Surfing Coalition event that features surf clubs from the entire length of California and attracts top surfing talent.
The Big Stick Logjam! is a large and popular community event that serves as a fundraiser for the club's support of community and ocean focused non-profits.
